A man whose knowledge, memory, wisdom and nobility far exceed the standards that society sets. He has just one weakness – inertia. Notwithstanding which, I often believe that he will make a very good civil servant, because he knows the meaning of both words very well - ‘ civility’ as well as ‘service’. He is probably the only person who has the depth of knowledge for a meaningful philosophical discussion and I have fond memories of the innumerable days and nights in the hostel attested to the pursuit of a higher truth in philosophical discussion.
